Meet Sam and Mitch
Two 27-year-olds tradies who took a chance, worked hard, and built a $6+ million property portfolio in under 5 years. What started as a small, humble investment journey quickly grew into something extraordinary. From navigating tough markets to finding hidden opportunities, they’ve learnt a few things along the way, and now, want to share their knowledge with others!
So How Did We Do It?
At just 21 years old, we decided to take the first step towards building a better future. We sold both our cars, pooled together what little money we had, and used it to purchase our first investment property. Not long after, our mortgage broker reached out with some good news – our property had gone up in value and there was enough equity to help us secure our second investment property! From there, it was like a light bulb went off and the journey began.
Over the next five years, we focused on learning as much as we could about property investing. We read books, listened to podcasts, sought out mentors, and completed courses. Getting educated was an important first step and it helped us understand where and how to find the right properties, what to look for when securing finance, what to avoid, and how to build a strategy that worked for us. Through trial and error, we’ve now built a portfolio worth over $6 million.
